7 Asian Companies To Pay Off $553 Million Over The LCD Price-Fixing Issue

7 of the Asian techno companies which include Sharp, Samsung & Hitachi, and Sharp have come to an agreement to make a payment of $553 million as the part of an agreement meant to resolve the claims of fixing LCD screens price.

7 Asian tech giants , in addition to some of the affiliated entities of these companies, will be paying $538 million in order to settle the antitrust claims.

With a view to resolve the civil fines & penalty law issues, these 7 farms will individually pay an extra $14 million. Companies that are based in Taiwan, South Korea and Japan have come to an agreement to take part in antitrust compliance campaigns.

The major payout is the one of $501 million which will be on offer as the partial refunds for consumers in  twenty four states. More $37 million will be spent in order to pay off the government bodies & different government entities.
